Grandpa and Grandma Glienke were so sweet to come and stay with Grandpa while we all ran off to Iowa - with his recent knee replacement, a long trip was not an option for him :(. So we headed to Houston to see our Grandparents and check in with Grandpa during his recovery (he's loved every thing about it by the way! HA!) So we left right after dinner on Thursday to be with them for the weekend (came back Saturday after dinner and church) - Noah drifted off to sleep without a fight and Drew was SO excited to finally get to watch a movie in "The Captain" (AKA our new Honda Pilot).
Nana and Grandpa had been looking forward to seeing the kids for quite some time (it had been awhile), so they stocked up on some fun water toys for everyone!
There was some big soccer game going on that weekend (that's right, I have no idea what it was!), and it doesn't take much for these boys to get into soccer, so here we are...already studying the game! :)
Noah got pretty good at kicking the ball while walking around lately, so Daddy's teaching him his soccer skills! And Drew couldn't be left out of course, though he wanted in on the attention more than the soccer stuff...what a goof, wanted to walk like Noah!
We loved seeing Grandpa and Nana - and while we tease, Houston may not be our favorite place to visit (it's a long drive with 2 kids), family makes it more than worth it!
