We had such fun celebrating our sweet girl! We had a cupcake smash at home with just us 5 on her birthday and loved that. She wasn't sure what was going on at first, but then loved it...until she didn't! She got to her point of messy and then she was done! I carried her up the stairs straight to the bath and the boys scrambled after to eat all the cupcake and icing that dropped off her. They even both ate what was left on the tablecloth - silly boys!
That Saturday we had family (including adopted grandparents Earnie & Diane and their granddaughters) come over for a swim party. We had a fun time, enjoyed good company and another good cake smash. Kate was a little clingy on Saturday - either teething or overwhelmed or both, but she did well. She really enjoyed opening all the presents which was funny too!
What a true blessing we have in her - what joy she brings to us all!
